TERMS AND CONDITIONS

By using this website and the services provided to you by InboxTranslation.com, you acknowledge and agree with the terms and conditions outlined below:

1. Prices and payment

1.1  The prices quoted on the order form are estimative (see FAQs for details)

1.2  The final cost will be emailed to you and

1.2.1    you can confirm the order

1.2.1.1       if the final cost is more than £5 over the initial quote, you need to pay  the difference before the delivery of the translation

1.2.1.2       if the final cost is less than the initial quote, we will reimburse you the difference

1.2.2    you can cancel your order (please see 2. Cancelling an order below)

1.3  We do not add any additional taxes or charges to your final quote (in the confirmation email)

1.4  Discounts will be offered for jobs over 10,000 words and for returning customers

1.5  Payment will be made using PayPal or Google Checkout  upon ordering (see 1.2 above)

1.6  The translation will commence once we receive full payment

2. Turnaround and delivery

2.1  The turnaround is calculated at a rate of 1600 words per day, starting once you confirm the final details or 24 hours after we send you the order confirmation email if we have not received any reply

2.2  InboxTranslation.com will inform you in advance if we are unable to deliver your translation on time and we shall not be held responsible for any consequences of the delay in delivery and this shall not constitute a valid basis for terminating the contract if:

2.2.1     the client has been informed in a timely manner (as set out in the order confirmation email)

2.2.2    the delay was due to causes beyond our control (including but not limited to late or non-delivery from our sub-contractors, weather conditions, natural disasters)

2.3  If you need your translation faster, please add the details in the Additional instructions box on the order form; we will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm whether we can deliver

2.3.1    If we accept your order, please note that a surcharge will be added to your final invoice for faster turnaround

3. Cancelling an order

3.1 Once you have placed your order, you will receive an email with the final quote (please see above); if you do not agree with the cost, you can cancel the order and we will credit your account with the amount of money taken during the order process

3.2. If you do not cancel within 24 hours from receiving the order confirmation email, we shall consider you have agreed to use our service (please see 1. Prices and Payment above)

3.3. If you choose to cancel your order later than 24 hours from receiving the order confirmation email, you will be charged for the amount of work carried out by the time you cancel (the turnaround for a job is calculated at a rate of 1600 words per day)

4. Privacy and confidentiality

4.1  InboxTranslation.com will not transmit or share the details you provide with third parties

4.2 All the translators at InboxTranslation.com have signed a Confidentiality Agreement which binds them not to disclose any part of the documents they translate (during or after the completion of the job)

5. Copyright

5.1  The client is solely responsible for assuring that the materials sent for translation do not infringe any Intellectual Property Rights

5.2 InboxTranslation.com reserves the right to refuse a job if the materials sent are considered obscene, pornographic or inappropriate by any means

6. Miscellaneous

6.1  InboxTranslation.com reserves the right to sub-contract any part of the translation job to its collaborators if we consider this appropriate to serve the purpose

6.2  Any notice and communication between the parties shall be carried out in writing

6.3  The present Terms and conditions may be subject to change without prior notice
